Work From Anywhere Program
At BB&K, we give our people the flexibility to work from wherever they work best, to ensure they can enjoy a healthy life balance and maximize their impact. In line with our forward-thinking philosophies, BB&K formally implemented a permanent Work From Anywhere (WFA) program. We are proud to be one of a very few law firms that offers this benefit, and our leadership has taken great strides to provide flexibility while maintaining a collaborative and collegial work environment.
Through WFA, attorneys and staff can choose to work primarily in a BB&K office with a dedicated desk/office/workstation, or to work primarily remotely/in a home office with approval from a supervisor. Remote attorneys and staff can book “hotel” office space using the firm’s reservation system as needed. Individuals who primarily work remotely are also eligible to receive additional home office equipment and technologies, an ergonomic assessment of their home work environment, a monthly stipend to defray the cost of office supplies and more.
In conjunction with WFA and parallel to the firm’s growth, BB&K has invested in numerous new technologies that enhance efficiency, build connection and enrich communication. These new technologies help to ensure that WFA is a success, our people are fulfilled and our culture continues to flourish from coast to coast.
Our firm offers a unique blend of exciting practice and sophisticated clientele with the atmosphere and advancement opportunities of a mid-size firm. We are large enough to handle a broad and complex practice, yet small enough to afford our lawyers exceptional professional opportunities. BB&K has been nationally ranked for workplace satisfaction based on factors such as attorney relations, interest in and passion for the work, training and guidance, policy on billable hours, management’s openness about firm strategies and partnership chances, the firm’s attitude toward pro bono work, compensation and benefits, and more.
Social Events and Connection
While virtual experiences are much the norm these days, in-person connections remain critical to building relationships and trust. Our employees, teams and offices come together in thoughtfully planned meetings, trainings, events, celebrations and observances. We’re continuously working to find new ways to enhance our culture in a virtual world while also providing the opportunity for in-person experiences, and are dedicated to doing so without compromising our work, camaraderie or rich history.
Best Best & Krieger fosters a culture that’s rooted in diversity, equity and inclusion. We embrace diverse perspectives and celebrate unique differences. Our firm’s mission is centered on cultivating and promoting a workplace and legal industry that reflects the diversity of the clients and communities we serve.
