Our affinity group programs for lawyers of color, LGBTQ+, and women lawyers create a strong community and reinforce our culture of inclusion.Launched in 2008, the programs have expanded to include more than three dozen affinity groups across the firm.


MoFo Navigate
MoFo understands how important it is that you find the right mentor to help you navigate your career and we take a holistic approach to professional growth. Through the MoFo Navigate program, we help you expand your professional network, observe the relationships that form naturally, and leverage those organic bonds to match you with a mentor. We train both mentor and mentee on how to make the most of the relationship, facilitate regular meaningful touchpoints between mentor and mentee, and create dedicated time to engage in the act of mentoring. MoFo Navigate responds to the changing needs of an attorney as they grow and develop at the firm, all with an eye toward equity and inclusion.

MoFo’s designated Work-Life Task Force hosts programs to support attorneys and staff throughout the year, including time management seminars, flexible work arrangement panels, and support groups for working parents, to name a few. We understand that taking better care of yourself helps you be at your best for your team and clients.


Our parental leave policy is one of the most generous in the legal industry. Primary caregivers, regardless of gender, may take up to 22 weeks of paid parental leave following the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.


Designated caregivers may take up to 8 weeks of paid parental leave following the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child. Additional baby bonding time is also available to all caregivers. As a matter of policy, we automatically grant reduced-hours arrangements to all lawyers who return to work from parental leave. We also offer “transition time” to assist lawyers’ transition before and after a parental leave.
