Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, a top Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a highly motivated, well-qualified mid-level associate (three to six years’ experience) to join its nationally recognized Employment & Labor practice in either the Atlanta, Denver, Kansas City, or St. Louis office. The position offers the chance for significant responsibility and to become part of a cohesive team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following areas:
- Employment and labor law in the context of mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and diligence memoranda, disclosure schedules, review and drafting of employment-related representations and covenants in merger agreements and stock and asset purchase agreements, and deal-related executive employment and separation agreements.
- Review and drafting of various workplace policies, work rules, and handbooks for employers with operations and employees nationwide.
- Experience providing practical advice for management-side clients regarding various workplace laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the National Labor Relations Act, and the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act.
- Successful applicants will have excellent written and oral communication skills, superior analytical skills and the ability to manage client engagements.
- Other requirements include excellent interpersonal skills, strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities and assume a high degree of responsibility.

Pursuant to the Colorado pay transparency law, BCLP is posting a reasonable estimate of a compensation range for an Associate with three to five years of experience. At the time of posting, the estimated Colorado range is $220,000 - $295,000. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the level of relevant experience, skill sets, training, licensure and certifications, internal equity, market data, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The range is based on a full-time work schedule.
