Job Description

We are seeking junior and mid-level patent litigation associates for our San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Seattle, or New York office. The ideal candidate will have one (1) full year to six (6) years of patent litigation experience. A degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science (or an equivalent degree) is not required if the candidate has patent litigation experience in these fields. Superior academic credentials, excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills a must. Applicable state bar membership preferred.

Our nationally recognized patent litigation group represents both patent holders and alleged infringers in federal jurisdictions throughout the United States, as well as in the Patent Office on parallel post-grant proceedings. Our clients range from startups to established stalwarts in the technology and life sciences industries. The anticipated range for this position is:

$215,000 – $370,000
The actual base salary offered will depend upon a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

A discretionary bonus may also be available based on performance.
