Junior/Mid-Level Associate, Litigation (Health Care)

Job Description

Troutman Pepper’s Health Care practice group is seeking a litigation associate who could be resident in any of the following offices: Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, or San Francisco. Ideal candidates will have 2-4 years of relevant healthcare litigation experience, including prior experience with hospitals, managed care plans, Medicare and Medicaid. Experience with federal and state healthcare regulatory issues a plus.

Candidates must have excellent academic and professional credentials, superior research and writing ability, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication skills. Clerkship experience is preferred. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing with the state bar of California.

Troutman Pepper’s Health Care practice, a subgroup within our Consumer Financial Services practice, focuses on complex litigation, business disputes, and health care litigation, including ERISA, out-of-network issues, and consumer litigation. The salary range for this position is $215,000 – $275,000, dependent on years of experience and geographic location.
