Job Description

Herrick, Feinstein’s New York office is seeking a general junior-mid level commercial litigation associate with a 2 -5 years’ experience. This is an excellent opportunity for growth in a collegial atmosphere that provides hands on experience, mentorship, and opportunities for client development.
Prior litigation experience with construction, real estate and partnership disputes is preferred. Requirements for this role include excellent writing and drafting skills; experience with e-discovery and all components of discovery, including document review, document requests and interrogatories, responses and objections, meet and confers, search terms, collection of documents from clients); experience with conducting research, drafting legal briefs, conducting oral arguments. Experience taking and/or defending depositions and appearing in court is valued. Applicants must be admitted in New York State; admission in New Jersey is a strong plus.
The salary range for this position is $190,000-$270,000. Actual salary within this range will depend upon actual years out of law-school, experience, writing sample, law school transcript, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
