Orrick seeks a mid-level or senior associate with four to nine years of experience to join our dynamic Restructuring practice group in our New York City office.

The amount of pay offered will be determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications, relevant experience, primary work location, market data, and internal equity. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.

Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have:
At least three years of restructuring experience, preferably with experience representing debtors, creditors’ and ad hoc committees, and asset acquirers, with a major law firm.
Experience with, restructuring support agreements, DIPs and exit facilities.
A strong education profile.
Transactional experience and an understanding of accounting and financial issues that affect restructuring transactions.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
New York State Bar membership.

Here are the targeted pay ranges based on a regular, full-time position in applicable Orrick office locations, including a National targeted pay range applicable to applicants who will work outside the locations described below:
Targeted Pay Range: California Major Markets* $295,000 – $415,000 | New York City $295,000 – $415,000 | National [including California Minor Markets**, Washington & Colorado] $295,000 – $415,000
*California Major Markets includes San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, Orange County
**California Minor Markets includes Sacramento
