Associate, Securities Litigation

Orrick is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of Securities Litigation experience. The ideal candidate would be based in Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Francisco, or Santa Monica. Our practice encompasses securities class actions, derivative suits, merger litigation, and other civil actions related to securities disputes. We offer an unparalleled platform for associates eager to engage in high-stakes litigation and complex investigatory and regulatory matters for some of the world's most innovative companies.
 
Key Responsibilities:
• Represent clients in securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and commercial disputes at trial and appellate levels.
• Support advocacy efforts before regulators to minimize or avoid enforcement actions.
• Collaborate on internal, government, and regulatory investigations.
 
Qualifications
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the NY or CA bar.
• 3-5 years of experience in securities litigation or related fields.
• Experience with securities-related disputes and investigations or charges by federal and state agencies for alleged securities law violations.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
 
Compensation and Benefits
 
The expected salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $365,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography.   Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
