Mid-Level Associate, Commercial Litigation

Ice Miller is seeking an associate with 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join our Litigation practice group in Indianapolis. The associate would become part of a team that represents clients in various commercial litigation matters around the country, particularly in Indiana State and Federal trial and appellate courts. Candidates must have excellent legal research and writing skills, strong oral communication skills, a team-oriented mentality, and be a motivated self-starter with excellent law school credentials and references. We prefer candidates who have written discovery and deposition experience, who have drafted pleadings, motions, and briefs, and have courtroom experience. Clerkship experience is also a plus.

• Have experience with insurance and/or other commercial litigation
• Have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own
• Have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Have excellent law school credentials and references
