Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level environment and natural resources associate with 3-5 years of litigation, compliance and permitting experience to join our Seattle office.

Candidates with environmental litigation experience and professional interest in environmental law issues are encouraged to apply. Experience with hazardous waste/substance regulation and liability issues, insurance recovery, endangered species, air quality, water quality and/or wetlands issues is a plus.  Excellent, writing and analytical skills and outstanding academic credentials are essential. Admission to the Washington Bar is required.

The salary range for the position of 3-5 Year Associate at Nossaman is $180,000 to $220,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 (which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work)
