Mid-Level/Senior Associate, Environmental Litigation (Water)

Job Description

We are seeking a mid-level to senior Water Associate with 5-7 years of experience practicing water law and/or environmental law to work in our Los Angeles office. Preferred candidates will have litigation experience in federal and state courts as well as outstanding academic qualifications, superb research and writing skills and experience drafting pleadings, briefs and motions. Discovery experience, including depositions and drafting/arguing discovery motions, is preferred. Admission to the State Bar of California is required. The salary range for the position of a 5-7 Year Associate at Nossaman is between $215,000 and $265,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 (which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work).
