Mid-Level/Senior Associate, Insurance Recovery & Counseling

Job Description

We are seeking a litigation associate with 5-8 years of experience to join our Insurance Recovery & Counseling practice in our Washington, DC office. Qualified candidates will have substantial recovery/coverage experience representing policyholders, experience drafting pleadings, briefs, and motions in state and federal court, and discovery experience including depositions and drafting/arguing discovery motions. The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects efficiently, work well as part of a team, and be willing to take ownership over significant projects. The salary range for the position of 5-8 Year Associate at Nossaman is $195,000 to $260,000 annually. The successful candidate’s salary for this position is reasonably expected to be set within this range; however, actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including, without limitation, the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Annual Billable Hours Expectation: 1,850 (which includes up to 100 hours of approved pro bono work)
