Associate, Antitrust

The Antitrust section provides antitrust counseling, litigation, and representation before the federal antitrust agencies, in court, and before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States. Our attorneys have deep expertise in several industries, including health care, communications, and technology, and our associates are expected to assume substantial responsibility for their matters. We also have substantial expertise in consumer protection issues and assist other members of the firm with consumer product safety matters.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an associate with at least three years of experience to join our Antitrust practice in Washington, DC. Responsibilities will include a wide range of antitrust litigation, counseling, and CFIUS work, including merger reviews and second requests, representing third parties before the Antitrust Division and FTC, motions practice, and related litigation work.

Collaboration with team members is an important component of any role at Mintz. Therefore, the firm encourages working from the office approximately 60% of the time in accordance with the firm’s published guidelines.

Qualifications

• A JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school
• Admitted or eligible for admission in Washington, DC
• At least three years of antitrust, CFIUS, litigation and/or regulatory experience
• Professionalism in working and engaging with demanding clients
• Ability to balance multiple competing priorities and responsibilities
• Ability to stay organized and exercise attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively in team settings

The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $370,000. This position is bonus eligible.
