Associate, Real Estate/Affordable Housing (Remote)

Our busy and rapidly growing affordable housing practice is seeking an associate attorney with at least three years of affordable housing and real estate experience. This individual will work on all aspects of affordable housing transactional work from the local government and affiliated entity perspective, including ground leases, corporate resolutions and operating/partnership agreements, federally-funded loan documents, multi-family permanent supportive housing management agreements, construction contracts, subrecipient agreements, federal funding requirements, entitlement, general real estate work involved in commercial lending, development, acquisitions, and dispositions of real property. Substantive legal experience in some or all of the following areas is highly desirable: housing tax credits, public housing redevelopment, HUD programs, real estate closing on large commercial transactions, Texas title policy and survey review, local government procurement requirements, and CDBG implementation programs. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California or Texas.

The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an attorney with 3 or more years of experience is $122,500 – $180,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
