Staff Attorney, Restructuring & Bankruptcy

The Chattanooga office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. seeks a staff attorney to join its Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy practice group. Candidates must have a law degree and not less than three years’ experience. The position involves use of both state and federal court filing systems and the ability to determine procedures used therein. Candidates must have the ability to search public records, to analyze and summarize information, and to prepare drafts of routine correspondence and pleadings independently. The staff attorney must be able to handle multiple matters at the same time. Basic knowledge of real estate and title issues is a plus. We seek a bright, hardworking attorney who possesses strong organizational, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills.
