Associate Attorney, Patent Litigation (Biotechnology/Chemistry)

Rothwell Figg, a premier intellectual property law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking an experienced associate patent attorney to join its thriving biology, biotechnology, and chemical patent litigation practice.

This position will provide the opportunity to work on a wide variety of patent litigation matters in the biology, biotechnology, chemical, and pharmaceutical fields with quality domestic and foreign clients.

The ideal candidate will possess an advanced degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacology, or a related field. Candidates must have three to five years of pharmaceutical, chemical or biotech litigation, PTAB, and/or related patent experience, and registration to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office is preferred. Top academic credentials, strong analytical abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work well on a team are required.
