You will be involved with a wide variety of work, including: patent preparation and prosecution, portfolio management, strategic analysis, client counseling, opinion work, and litigation support.

Our firm is among the first to see the newest developments in biopharmaceuticals, biosimilars, chemical and industrial products, generic drugs and small molecules, industrial and agricultural biotech, prescription and OTC drugs, and therapeutic antibodies, among other exciting sciences and technologies.

Qualified applicants will have:

• Advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) and/or industry experience in chemistry, organic chemistry, pharmacy, or equivalent discipline.
• Experience in a law firm or at the USPTO
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Remote applicants with these qualifications will be considered
• Additionally, any associate candidates must have obtained a JD degree from an accredited law school and be actively licensed as an attorney in an appropriate U.S. jurisdiction. If not currently licensed in D.C., applicant must be eligible to waive into the D.C. Bar, or be willing and eligible to sit for the D.C. Bar exam.
