Mid-Level Associate, Insurance Coverage

Robinson+Cole, an AmLaw 200 firm, seeks an associate with three to five years of experience in insurance policy analysis, preparing coverage opinions, providing coverage recommendations, and drafting reservations and disclaimers to join its Insurance + Reinsurance Practice Group in its Boston, Miami, New York City, or Connecticut offices.

Robinson+Cole has one of the leading insurance practices in the United States, focusing on insurance coverage analysis and litigation regarding commercial general liability, construction defect, professional liability, financial lines, property, and employers professional liability claims.

We are looking for a candidate with superior academic credentials, excellent writing and analytical skills, and large-firm or equivalent experience to join our team. Attorneys must be admitted in the state where the office in which they work is located, and a New Jersey admission is a plus. Law review experience and/or judicial clerkship experience are a plus. The successful candidate will be expected to assume substantial responsibility, including policy analysis, drafting coverage opinions, and similar tasks.

New York Applicants: Please note that the target base salary range for this position for New York based candidates is $190,000 to $202,500. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual’s class year, years of experience, skills, qualifications, and office location.
