Bass, Berry & Sims represents more than 200 public and private companies in a variety of industry sectors. Our Intellectual Property & Technology Practice Group provides business-oriented, practical solutions to legal issues that are faced by clients at every stage of the business cycle in domestic and international transactions that involve intellectual property (IP) rights and technology. Our attorneys structure, prepare and negotiate hundreds of IP transactions and licenses each year from the perspectives of both the vendor and customers and work collaboratively with other practice groups to provide value added services to clients in corporate mergers, dispositions, strategic alliances and business combinations, and financings and restructurings involving technology and IP assets.

Join Us.
We are seeking an associate or senior associate with a minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience in intellectual property and technology transactions including counseling clients on licensing agreements; IP due diligence; outsourcing and managed services agreements; and supply and distribution agreements to join our intellectual property group in our Nashville office location. Candidates must have excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills as well as excellent academic credentials.
