The Capital Markets group seeks an associate with 6+ years of experience in corporate finance and securities law to join the New York or Chicago office. This associate will assist both on complex capital markets transactions (new issue high yield and liability management exercises) as well as on creditor group representations. The ideal candidate will have significant experience structuring and negotiating high yield covenants. Familiarity with leveraged loan covenants is a plus, but not required.
Part-time, fixed hour or other flexible work arrangements will be considered for this position.
This position will require some physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a weekly basis. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $215,000-$415,000 (based on full-time schedule). The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
