Winston & Strawn is looking for a mid-level tax associate (3rd to 6th year) with experience working on the taxation of corporate and partnership business transactions. The associate would primarily be involved in transactional practice working on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, joint ventures, fund formation and financing transactions. The ideal candidate will have stellar academic credentials, excellent written and oral communications skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team. Major law firm experience is preferred.
While we are primarily seeking to hire for our Chicago, Dallas, and New York offices, candidates for our other offices will be considered. All candidates must be licensed to practice law in the jurisdiction in which you are applying.

Summer Associate (Pro Rata) - $225,000
1st Year - $225,000
2nd Year - $235,000
3rd Year - $260,000
4th Year - $310,000
5th Year - $365,000
6th Year - $390,000
Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package in addition to a discretionary performance bonus.
