Winston’s Renewable Energy Project Finance group is looking for junior associates to join its market leading practice. Such associates will have to opportunity to work on renewable energy projects involving wind and solar power and storage, including complex transactions involving construction financing, term loan finance, and back-leverage finances. General corporate experience is all that is necessary. Junior associates will be responsible for drafting exhibits and financial/corporate documents and be exposed to project documents and related diligence related to the construction and operation of the projects.
The Renewable Energy Project Finance group represents lenders in renewable energy financings (solar, wind, and battery storage) across the United States. Clients include nearly all the high-profile players in this growing and exiting space. The team has advised on transactions that have recently been recognized as “deals of the year” across multiple categories by such industry organizations as IJGlobal and Proxmio. Additionally, the practice and several of practitioners are routinely recognized market leaders by Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, Power Finance & Risk, and U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Law Firms.”
This position is open in our San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City offices. Candidates with JD 2023 and 2024 are strongly encouraged to apply. Candidates should be admitted to the state bar of the office they are applying for.
Year - U.S. Payroll (NY OFFICE):
- Summer Associate (Pro Rata) - $225,000
- 1st Year - $225,000
- 2nd Year - $235,000
- 3rd Year - $260,000
- 4th Year - $310,000
- 5th Year - $365,000
- 6th Year - $390,000
Total compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package in addition to a discretionary performance bonus.
