Mid-Level Associate, Environmental

Job Description

Troutman Pepper’s Environmental and Natural Resources Practice Group seeks an associate with 3 years of experience. We will consider candidates to be based out of any of our 23 office locations, with a preference for someone based in our Atlanta, Richmond, or Washington D.C. offices.

Ideal candidates will have knowledge of all aspects of environmental law, including regulatory compliance, particularly under the Clean Water Act. Responsibilities in this role include reviewing permits, developing permitting strategies, and providing compliance advice. Experience with enforcement defense is a plus.

We are seeking highly motivated candidates with superior academic credentials. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in the state that they practice.

The salary range for this position is $155,000 – $240,000, dependent on years of experience and geographic location.
