Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, currently has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for two 2nd – 4th year associates in the Litigation practice of our Dallas, TX office. Ideal candidates should have experience analyzing, researching and drafting briefs addressing sophisticated legal issues on complex litigation, ranging from state and federal court motions to dismiss, summary judgment and class certification motions, writs and appeals.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should possess a strong academic background, experience in trial prep and court appearances, solid writing skills, case management experience, have successfully argued motions, taken and defended depositions, as well as have the ability to be strategic and analytical. These roles require a candidate with strong interpersonal skills, a high degree of maturity, a willingness to learn and a desire to accept significant responsibility and manage a challenging workload within a fast-paced environment. Candidates must be admitted to the Texas Bar and should be willing to participate in community and professional organizations as part of professional development.

Practice Summary:

Greenberg Traurig’s Commercial Litigation Practice is skilled in business dispute litigation and has wide-ranging experience in corporate governance and compliance and with the full valuation, accounting, and ethical issues which typically arise in business disputes. We have litigated issues of first impression. Our team comprises experienced trial lawyers who understand broad business implications and can draw on the firm’s multidisciplinary teams in industries such as financial services, accounting, insurance, real estate, and entertainment to devise creative and efficient strategies. Our client base is diverse and we regularly represent national and multinational corporations and national and locally based law firms, accounting firms, investment banks, advertising agencies, architectural firms, and artists in disputes, mergers and acquisitions and liquidations, and before regulatory and self-regulatory organizations.
