Mid-Level Associate, Finance (Private Credit)

Seeking an experienced finance associate (ideally 2018+ class years) to join the dynamic and rapidly growing Finance practice at Proskauer in either Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles or New York offices. The Finance Group is a lender-side finance practice, and represents top-tier clients in the industry including, Apollo, Bain, Carlyle, Goldman Sachs, KKR and Morgan Stanley. This dedicated team is widely recognized by their peers, and is Chambers ranked Band One. The group employs a unique staffing model to ensure an even distribution of work while providing substantial opportunities for growth, development and client interaction. Given the growth and scale of the practice, numerous opportunities exist for promotion, secondments and in-house placements. We are looking for an associate with a strong understanding of leveraged finance and a mastery of core and ancillary documents. Preferred candidates would have at least 4 years of large law firm finance experience counseling a variety of lenders in mid and upper market club and syndicated transactions.

This position will require some physical presence in Proskauer’s offices on a weekly basis. The anticipated compensation range for this position is $215,000-$415,000. The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
