Ideal Candidate
We have a need for a Patent Prosecution Agent or Scientific Analyst in various offices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in:
- Preparing and prosecuting patent applications
- Contributing to prosecution strategy
- Providing technical and legal research and analysis with respect to matters pending before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office
- Providing technical support for patent interference and litigation proceedings
Requirements
- Ph.D. in life sciences, chemistry, or medicine
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills, and top academic credentials are essential
- USPTO registration is not required

Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, overtime as applicable, health/welfare benefits, retirement contributions, paid holidays, and PTO. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: local market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience; and certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
San Francisco, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Los Angeles, CA; San Diego, CA; New York City, NY salary range: $100k – $118k
