Senior Litigation Attorney

The Kansas City Office of Shook, Hardy & Bacon LLP is seeking a senior litigation attorney with at least seven years of experience to join the General Liability Litigation practice group. Candidates must be licensed to practice in Missouri. A license to practice in Kansas is helpful, but not required.

Experience defending all aspects of personal injury and property damage cases is required. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys fast-paced litigation and has experience with all aspects of defending a case, including taking and defending depositions, attending court hearings, drafting and arguing motions, and assisting significantly at trial.

This non-partnership track position will include helping to manage and play a lead role in handling a case load of 30-40 cases and also requires ability to effectively communicate with clients, and supervision of other case team members. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable leading case teams and working autonomously.
