Job Description
The projects and agency finance practice at Morrison Foerster is seeking a junior to mid-level associate to be resident in our Washington, DC office (other US locations may be considered on a case-by-case basis). The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated interest in cross-border transactions, preferably in the area of project finance, structured finance, or corporate finance. We practice across a wide range of sectors and regions, and experience with energy and infrastructure projects, development finance institutions and multilaterals, and emerging markets would be a plus.
The following additional criteria for eligibility will be considered:
- Prior experience in a leading domestic or international law firm;
- Meaningful transactional experience;
- Action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility supporting deals;
- Admission to practice in New York;
- Professional proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, and/or French would be valuable but is not required.
Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and, certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.
Boston, MA annual salary range: $225,000 to $310,000
New York, NY annual salary range: $225,000 to $310,000
Washington, D.C. annual salary range: $225,000 to $310,000
