Position: IP Litigation Associate Attorney (Life Sciences)

Experience: 3 – 5 Years of Experience

The IP Litigation practice is seeking to expand our team with qualified patent litigators with a life sciences degree.

Ideal Candidate:

• The ideal candidate will be a high performer with 3 – 5 years of experience with intellectual property matters, including patent and/or trade secret litigation.
• Admission to a state bar is required.
• Strong academic credentials in law and undergraduate coursework is highly valued.
• Undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, Materials Science, Genetics, or Biochemistry is preferred. We may consider other related degrees if the level of work experience is significant and compelling.
• A strong work ethic, excellent leadership skills, and action-oriented interest in taking on increased levels of responsibility for client matters.
• Outstanding research and analytical skills are imperative.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are key.
• Sound legal and business knowledge in working on a broad spectrum of cases and counseling clients with respect to ongoing matters.

Where required by law, salary ranges are stated below. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus, health/welfare benefits (including parental, adoption, and fertility benefits), flexible time off, and paid holidays. The range displayed is specifically for positions performed in those cities/states and may vary based on factors including but not limited to the following: market data and ranges; an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience (including class year); and, certain degrees, licensing, and certifications.

Denver, CO annual salary range: $260,000 to $365,000
