We are currently looking for a bright, committed and ambitious attorney with four to seven years of experience to join our Trial and Litigation Practice Group, with a focus on eminent domain. This position is open to our San Diego, Los Angeles or Oakland office.

Qualified candidates must have superior research and writing skills, excellent academic credentials, outstanding analytical and creative thinking capabilities, and a strong work ethic. In addition, a successful candidate will have a proven ability to work in teams and an interest in elevating the Meyers Nave brand and reputation. It is essential that candidates possess significant experience with law and motion practice, including dispositive motions. Candidates should also have prior experience in building a case for trial, including developing evidence, interviewing witnesses, and taking and defending depositions. Eminent Domain or real estate/real property experience preferred but not required.

This position affords an opportunity for a motivated and qualified attorney to gain significant litigation and trial experience on a wide array of public entity-related land acquisition issues throughout California.

We offer a hybrid work schedule with continued work from home opportunities, coupled with core “in office” days with colleagues to promote collaboration and collegiality. The salary range for this California-based role is $165,000 – $190,000, and represents the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s years of experience, qualifications, skill set and office location. Meyers Nave offers a reasonable billable hours requirement, annual discretionary and billable hours bonuses, competitive health insurance benefits, 401(k) with a partial match and profit-sharing.
